Sherri Hightower
Client Care Coordinator
Sherri joined the MAC family 4 years ago. She will celebrate 25 years of marriage this year with her high school sweetheart, Trenton. They share their home with two amazing fur babies; Jasmine (5 year old German Shepherd) and Maverick (4 year old Dachshund). Sherri loves spending time with her goddaughter, Kinzley. She also really enjoys camping, concerts, kayaking, photography and beach trips.

KELLY LANE
Client Care Specialist
Kelly joined MAC September 2022. She attended WPCC and obtained her Associate’s degree in Arts in 2017. She has three fur babies; Rozi, Maya and Sable. Kelly loves Halloween, Dolly Parton, and Mexican food so if you need her that’s where you’ll find her!
Fun Fact: Kelly lived in Okinawa, Japan for 2.5 years.

Bailey Williams
Staff Supervisor / Client Care Specialist
Bailey joined our team in September 2023 when she moved her from Indiana with her boyfriend, Kevin, and their two precious girls — their 9-year-old rescue pug, Betty, and their feisty kitty, Mipha. Bailey’s previous experience includes working on the medical team and as the Volunteer Coordinator at a high-intake animal shelter back in her hometown, and later working as a Vet Assistant and Client Care Representative at a clinic back home. She is so excited to bring her experience to our clinic so she can help provide the best care possible to our clients and their pets.

Haley WALKER
Lead Technician/Surgical Technician
Haley has been with the clinic for over seven years and does such a phenomenal job helping patients through their visits as comfortably and easily as possible. Haley has such a contagious smile and positive attitude that radiates throughout our clinic. Haley is a devoted mom and shares her home with her son and spoiled lab mix, Caliber. In Haley’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Kasey Cook
Technician / Surgical Technician
This is Kasey and her boyfriend Zakery who she has been with for almost 4 years. She has been in the veterinary field for almost 3 years and is currently in school at Appalachian State University to obtain her Bachelor Degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She also has one dog named Ace who is 3 years old.
Fun Fact: Has a passion for vintage Ford Broncos!

Vet Assistant
Meet Kris. She grew up in the mountains where she could often be found outside trying to find frogs. Her love and fascination with ALL animals made Veterinary Medicine a perfect fit. Prior to joining our MAC fam, she worked with rescues adopting out animals to their fur-ever homes. In September 2023, Kris joined the ‘Mama Club’ with a precious little girl.

Meet Faith! Faith is currently a student at WCU, where she is pursuing a degree in psychology. She loves spending time outdoors playing soccer with friends, and also loves to read!

Ruppa brings smiles and joy wherever he goes. He is a gentle soul who loves everyone but especially adores his owner Katie - Dr. Callahan's daughter. Most days Ruppa can be found under Dr. Callahan's desk catching up on his beauty sleep. Ruppa would like everyone to know he is the true rock of the Callahan family and the secret to Dr. Callahan's success no matter what Mr. Fred says.
