Fred Callahan

Office Manager

Fred brings 21 years of Customer Service to Morganton Animal Clinic.  He is the secret power behind Dr. Callahan's success and the rock of the family.  Fred shares the love of animals with his wife Dr. Callahan and co-parents four dogs, two cats, six chickens, two horses and two children.  When not being an advocate for customers and co-workers Fred enjoys spending time with family and friends playing on the beautiful waters of Lake James, carpentry, crochet and motorcycles.



Marsha Milligan

Client Care Specialist

Marsha has over ten years experience with us. She has a soft spot for her four spoiled cats, cute white Poodle and sweet Doberman, Lucy. Marsha and her husband are adoring grandparents. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside, making flower arrangements and other crafts.


Kelsey Culp

Client Care Specialist/Veterinarian Assistant

Kelsey's love for animals began at a very young age and pursuing a profession in the veterinary field has always been a huge interest of hers. Kelsey and her partner share their home with their three fur children, Abby, Baylee and Chester. In her spare time, you'll find her thinking about food because her next meal is a top priority of hers. Kelsey is a sports fanatic who enjoys celebrating Christmas 365 days of the year, rescuing animals of all species, traveling and spending time with her family.



Veterinarian Technician

Kendall obtained her Veterinary Technician license at Penn Foster and has been with the practice for four years. She can be found assisting the doctors and technicians with patient care. She loves all types of animals and enjoys spending time with her goats in her spare time. Kendall and her husband, Wesley welcomed their bundle of joy, Aspen on September 8th, 2017. We are so excited to add two more little feet to our Morganton Animal Clinic family.


Nate miller

Veterinarian Assistant/Technician

Nate has seventeen years of experience in this field and has been with the clinic for five years now. In his spare time, he loves to kayak, process firewood, pilot his federally licensed drone and spend time with his family. Nate and his wife Ashley share their home with their son Nash, daughter Linville and several pets. Nate and his wife are expecting another sweet little Miller baby in December. Our Morganton Animal Clinic family just keeps growing and we can’t be anymore excited.



Veterinarian Assistant

Haley has been with the clinic for over four years. Her dream is to continue her career in Veterinary Medicine as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Haley is a devoted mom and shares her home with her son and spoiled lab mix, Caliber.



Veterinarian Assistant

Lindsey has a Bachelors of Animal Science degree from NC State University.  She has been with us for two years and has become an invaluable part of the MAC family.  Lindsey is avid about health and exercise and spends most of her free time at the gym. She is a pet sitter in her spare time.



Clinic Mascot

Ruppa brings smiles and joy wherever he goes.  He is a gentle soul who loves everyone but especially adores his owner Katie - Dr. Callahan's daughter.  Most days Ruppa can be found under Dr. Callahan's desk catching up on his beauty sleep.  Ruppa would like everyone to know he is the true rock of the Callahan family and the secret to Dr. Callahan's success no matter what Mr. Fred says. You can follow Ruppa on Instagram at: _ruppa_bernedoodle



Kennel Assistant

Courtney loves animals and takes care of her 5 dogs, 5 cats and two horses. She is currently studying to get her Veterinary Technician degree. Courtney likes to ride horses in her free time and spend time with her best friend Katie Callahan. She is also a step-mom to Ruppa.

Hannah’s dream is to have a career working with animals. She has helped raise many litters of canines and goats in the past and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. In Hannah’s spare time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her German Shepherd, “Atka”.
