Sherri

Sherri joined the MAC family in 2019. Outside of her professional role, Sherri is a true adventurer at heart. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Trenton and they share their home with their two fur kids, Jasmine and Maverick.

When she isn’t at work, you can likely find Sherri behind the wheel of her Jeep, Atlas, heading toward her next destination. She may be headed to Raleigh to cheer on the Carolina Hurricanes. She is a Caniac through and through. She is an avid traveler and concert-goer who also finds peace on the water while kayaking. With a passion for photography, Sherri loves capturing the world around her. Her perfect day ends with a great book, a hot cup of coffee, and a stunning sunset.

Fun Fact: Sherri is a direct descendant of Vikings!

KELLY

Kelly joined the MAC family in 2022. ​When she isn’t at her desk, Kelly is likely spending quality time with her husband, Trent, and their three beloved fur babies: Rozi, Maya, and Sable. A true enthusiast of the eclectic, Kelly’s personal passions include everything Dolly Parton, an impressive rock collection, and all things Halloween.

Fun Fact: Kelly lived in Okinawa, Japan for 2.5 years.

Kasey

Lead

Kasey joined the MAC family in 2023. She married her husband Zakery in 2025. She has been in the veterinary field since June of 2021, and graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Technology. She also has one handsome dog named Ace who is 4 years old.

Fun Fact: Kasey has a passion for vintage Ford Broncos!

VETERINARY ASSISTANTS

Ashley

Ashley joined the MAC family in 2024. Known affectionately as the "Foster Fail Queen," Ashley lives by the motto: "It can come home with me!" Her home is a vibrant testament to her love for all creatures, currently housing a unique family of five dogs, eleven cats, four reptiles, and a mouse—with a tarantula soon to join the ranks. Ashley’s life revolves around the belief that every animal deserves a second chance, especially the misunderstood exotics. To further her mission, she is heading back to school in 2026 to become an RVT, bridging the gap between her passion for rescue and professional veterinary expertise.

Jade

Jade joined the MAC family in 2026. With an Associate Degree in Applied Animal Science Technology, Jade began her career as a Kennel Technician, steadily advancing through dedication and hands-on experience to her current role as a Veterinary Assistant. Outside of the clinic, Jade is an outdoor and automotive enthusiast. She spends her free time on ATV riding trips or in the garage restoring her Square body truck and her fiancé Joshua's Trans Am. She treasures her time spent with Joshua, and their two dogs, Kota and Dixie.

Sarah joined the MAC family in 2026. A lifelong animal advocate, Sarah has had a passion for creatures great and small since she was "knee-high to a duck." This love continues at home, where she cares for two dogs and two cats who are admittedly "rotten to the core." Outside of her professional role, Sarah is deeply family-oriented and finds her greatest joy in exploring the great outdoors and traveling with her son and family. Guided by the Golden Rule, she approaches every day with her favorite saying in mind: "Treat others how you wish to be treated."

NOE

Noe joined the MAC family in 2021. Noe would describe himself as a “Super Cool Person”…

Fun fact: Noe can spend up to 12 hours a day playing video games.

KENNEL ASSISTANT

oLIVIA

Olivia joined the MAC family in 2026. She’s currently a homeschooled student with a goal of helping animals and one day becoming a Vet. At home, she stays busy caring for her seven dogs, six cats, and a variety of goats and chickens. When she isn’t assisting our staff, you’ll find her riding horses or practicing piano. Olivia enjoys the rodeo circuit and spending time hunting and swimming with her four brothers, family, and friends. She is proud to turn her childhood dream of working with animals into a reality every day at the clinic.

Ruppa callahan

Ruppa brings smiles and joy wherever he goes.  He is a gentle soul who loves everyone but especially adores his owner Katie - Dr. Callahan's daughter.  Most days Ruppa can be found under Dr. Callahan's desk catching up on his beauty sleep.  Ruppa would like everyone to know he is the true rock of the Callahan family and the secret to Dr. Callahan's success no matter what Mr. Fred says. You can follow Ruppa on Instagram at: _ruppa_bernedoodle
