Sherri Hightower

Client Care Coordinator

Sherri joined the MAC family 5 years ago. She celebrated 25 years of marriage this year with her high school sweetheart, Trenton. They share their home with two amazing fur babies; Jasmine (6 year old German Shepherd) and Maverick (5 year old Dachshund). Sherri loves spending time with her goddaughter, Kinzley. She also really enjoys traveling, concerts, kayaking, and photography.

Fun Fact: Sherri is a direct descendant of Vikings!

KELLY Riddle

Client Care Specialist

Kelly joined MAC September 2022. She attended WPCC and obtained her Associate’s degree in 2017. She is married to the love of her life, Trent, and has three fur babies; Rozi, Maya, and Sable. Kelly loves Halloween, Dolly Parton, and Habaneros Mexican Restaurant so if you need her that’s where you’ll find her!

Fun Fact: Kelly lived in Okinawa, Japan for 2.5 years.

Haley Roper

Lead Surgical Assistant

Haley has been with the clinic for over eleven years and does such a phenomenal job helping patients through their visits as comfortably and easily as possible. Haley has such a contagious smile and positive attitude that radiates throughout our clinic. Haley is a devoted mom and wife and shares her home with her three mutts; Dog, Bucky, and Millie. In Haley’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and Camping.

Fun Fact: Haley run’s an in home boarding facility, called Haley’s Hotel for Hounds.

Kasey Cook

Surgical Assistant

This is Kasey and her fiancé Zakery who she has been with for 4 years. She has been in the veterinary field for almost 4 years and is currently in school at Appalachian State University to obtain her Bachelor Degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She also has one handsome dog named Ace who is 4 years old.

Fun Fact: Kasey has a passion for vintage Ford Broncos!

Katie is just a girl. She has been with MAC since September of 2022 and worked her way up from Kennel Assistant to Vet Assistant! Katie loves frog gigging, yelling at squirrels, and anything Western.

Fun Fact: Katie's dogs are named after her favorite musicians; Koe Wetzel and Treaty Oak!

Emily Bentley

Vet Assistant

Emily joined the MAC team in April of 2024 and has 4 years of experience in veterinary medicine, including work in Urgent Care. She is an Old Soul who loves 90's Country Music, Old Fords, fast cars, and Freedom.

Fun fact: Emily loves ALL kinds of animals. She spends a majority of her time with her Chocolate Lab (Jake Brake), cat (Tommy), and nine pet rats!"

CLINIC MASCOT

Ruppa brings smiles and joy wherever he goes.  He is a gentle soul who loves everyone but especially adores his owner Katie - Dr. Callahan's daughter.  Most days Ruppa can be found under Dr. Callahan's desk catching up on his beauty sleep.  Ruppa would like everyone to know he is the true rock of the Callahan family and the secret to Dr. Callahan's success no matter what Mr. Fred says. You can follow Ruppa on Instagram at: _ruppa_bernedoodle
